Good advice/direction or websites on glass painting/class staining?

I am thinking of doing some glass paining/staining on my windows. I need advice on --which brand paint,brush,techniques are good. Any good websites that teaches you all about it?Good advice/direction or websites on glass painting/class staining?
First off - you can't 'stain' your window glass. You CAN paint it.





I'm unsure if you are looking to make your window look like a 'stained-glass window' or if you just want to paint on the glass.





If it's a temporary design you're looking to do any acrylic paint will work - it will be opaque and you can scrape it off with a razor blade if you don't like it.





If you want more of a 'see-through' effect you can use colored Sharpie pens. They will come off with alcohol. (although if you have old windows with old glass be careful as old glass can be 'pitted')





If it's more of a permanent effect try Pebeo paints for glass. Available at Michaels.
