I need a long list of websites ONLY for girls, preferably with many quizzes and an advice section. No adults?

And online games that do not need a paying membership(or even better, no membership. Thanks a lot.I need a long list of websites ONLY for girls, preferably with many quizzes and an advice section. No adults?
If a bloke were to request a 'Men Only' website there would be such an outcry that we are being sexist - hence the fact that women can now be members of what were previously men-only clubs etc. So do female demands for Female-only space constitute a breach of the Sex Equality ethic - or is the usual double standard one-way street?I need a long list of websites ONLY for girls, preferably with many quizzes and an advice section. Any websites that offer free advice for cat with fear & aggressive & manipulative issues??

cat has issues that I need to have solved, don't want to give her to the pound, no one will take her. She is overly fearful %26amp; aggressive. She stares at me most of the time, doesn't want to play, when she does play she eventually gets scared of me %26amp; hisses %26amp; growls %26amp; hides. I don't/can't disipline her, she just gets more angry. I didnt raise her, she was my friends ex finaces cat. his cat is normal, hers not so. She wasn't abused, but his ex was a negative, bitchy person, who punished her by making her sit on her lap for hours at a time. she also made it known to the cat that it was hers, %26amp; no one elses. The only time the cat is nice to me is when i'm laying down, then she will lay on me %26amp; purr. Her moods are more extreme then most cats, one minute shes purring the next she will glare at me, %26amp; growl, its creepy. But she isnt mean to my friend who lives with her to. It's very hard to live with her, I need advice, please help? Any animal behavioral sites that help you for free?Any websites that offer free advice for cat with fear %26amp; aggressive %26amp; manipulative issues??
This is a problem that needs individual attention. I don't think you will get much from a website except generalities (which is not a bad thing).

There are the options of using an Animal Communicator (they charge about $100 a hour) and I highly recommend that if you can swing it. Remember you may be living with this cat for the next ten years - even one session can do wonders. It's not like you have to go into family counseling for many years.

The other option is using flower essences with her. You can go to http://www.spiritessence.com and read about their use with cats. Dr. Jean Hovfe might even suggest one to use with her if you email her at the site. I don't quite get the picture here with this cat - age, how long she has been with you etc. Cats are slow to change and make adjustments.

The flower essence combinations are only $20 mailed to you from CO. You just shake the bottle well and put three to four drops on the cat's fur between her ears four or five times a day. Used intensely for 10 days or two weeks should effect a positive change in the cat.

There are 38 Bach flower essences available in health food stores and pharmacies. Each one has an indication for behavior issues. Choosing the right one for the cat takes some individual diagnosis. That's why I like Dr. Hovfe's combinations - you get a lot of bang for your buck. You can get a ';hit'; with something in them. What isn't pertinent to the problem will just be ignored ande won't harm the cat in any way.

The fact that she lies on you and purrs is an excellent indication you are doing well with her.

I had a cat who for TWO years only came to me when I was lying under the covers on my bed! That's how scared she was of me. Then she would come to sit by me on the couch to be petted.Any websites that offer free advice for cat with fear %26amp; aggressive %26amp; manipulative issues??
buy some feliway and every positive interaction she gives you then give her a favourite treat. reward positive behaviour and ignore negative she will eventually learn you are a very nice person. also make sure you are the only one who feeds her and changes tray etc do the nice thing for and she will learn you will not force her to do anything she doesn't want to do. also speak to her vet about this

  • I need ski clothes for toddlers..any advice on where to get good deals /websites ?

Try eBay. do a search under clothing, toddler using the word ';snow';. I came up with 2037 listings! You can narrow the search by adding your child's size to the search. Toddlers don't wear snow gear for long because they grow out of them so quickly so used gear is usually in great, almost new condition!

  • Pls. give me advices, websites on all about PROM...?

what will i do, what make-up is good for me, the dress! and the hairstyles, and look, i still don't have any partner in the dance! i'm kinda confused because it's a week away to go..no one has ever asked me so far, and i think they will not because i think they're too shy to me, help please!!!!!!!Pls. give me advices, websites on all about PROM...?
for a prom dress you need to find something that is not only attractive but also comfortable. if you are going to be dancing and moving around constantly you need to be comfortable- while a skin tight dress might be comfortable keep in mind that they leave nothing to the imagination. if you have very fair skin and dark hair try and avoid colours that will make you appear washed out. for example if you have a very pale complexion avoid something like a solid black or very dark purple, blue, etc. choose something that has a bit of flair. in relation to shoes- make sure that they are comfortable as well as attractive

for your hair this can depend on the dress but think of comfort as well- some styles that use accessories such as clips and combs after a while they can hurt a bit and you want to pull them out. try for something sleek and sexy- maybe layer your hair. if you have thick hair make sure you use a product that will keep it from frizzing and going everywhere. short hair- looks good with a single comb/clip with a pretty design. long hair- looks good either held back at the temple or swept up in a chignon or something similar, if you want to leave it loose add a bit of curl/wave for some extra oomph.

try and ensure your makeup looks natural. avoid using a shovel- you are not applying cement. use both a foundation and a loose powder to both prevent oil and shine and also to make it last longer. mascara- use it lightly as you do not want to look like a raccoon- same goes for any eye liner. eyeshadow- keep it simple and try and match it to your dress colour. for example if you wear a blue dress avoid pink eyeshadow. also if your prom goes for a long time you might want to take along a a white eyeshadow and if you feel yourself getting tired lightly apply to the area under your eyes as it helps reduce signs of fatigue under them.

add some faint colour to your cheeks as well - you do not want to look like a ghost in any photos. make sure that your makeup blends i with your skin tone as well- avoid a tide mark

your lipstick should be longlasting and something that looks good- don't hesitate to experiment

MOST IMPORTANTLY HAVE FUN- EVEN IF YOU GO BY YOURSELFPls. give me advices, websites on all about PROM...?
I heard once that it is a statistical fact that more adolescent girls lose their virginity on prom night than on any other night of the year. So my advice to you is to not do anything irresponsible, that you are not comfortable with. Don't worry so much about the dress and if you're going to ride in a limo or not, a week after the big night none of that shi_ will even matter, and in a year or 2 you will be too busy balancing your checkbook and saving up for your new house. High school is about as forgettable as the proofs and theorems they try to force feed you in your calculus classes.

Advice on finding a professional job in the Philippines? Websites/Job Agencies?

After living here in London, UK all my life (born 'n' bred) I've decided to make a decision of residing in my native country of the Philippines for a year or two (Fancy a change in life)

Im in my early 20s and I'm educated up to degree level. However, I don't have much 'work experience' on my resume/CV. I would like to get into the I.T. industry or work for a big company in any sector as long as I can work my way up.

If anybody can give me some pointers or advice it would be very much appreciated.Advice on finding a professional job in the Philippines? Websites/Job Agencies?
You can just be a freelance webmaster. Every so often, you can land high-profile projects. When you do, and people like the sites you created, they could even come to you.

That means you can do this job like you are an entrepreneur. Without having to have a boss. You will be your own master, and your income will depend entirely on how good you are, and how hardworking you are.

I have friends who occasionally look for webmasters for their projects like beauty pageants, including sites for each of the provincial versions . Also there are sites for special projects like the Asian Games, ASEAN Games, local Amazing Race versions sponsored by private companies, etc.Advice on finding a professional job in the Philippines? • Does anyone have any advice about taking out a student loan (and websites where I can apply)?

So I need to take out another loan for college, but I'm not sure which one to use. I'd like for it to be a student loan so I can wait until after college to pay it off (with lower interest rates), but I'd also like to take out a bigger loan to have some money for some other things. I was reading that college loans can only be used for tuition, room and board, etc., but I'd like to have extra money to get some new clothes (I haven't had new clothes yet, and I need them). I'd also like some for groceries for my room and maybe even laundry money. Anyway, is there a student loan where they don't actually know what you do with your money? Most people wouldn't consider groceries, gas money, and laundry money college expenses, but they really are to me. I plan to have a co-signer as well.

I am going to talk to the Business Office at my college tomorrow, but I don't really want to mention that I want some money for things that aren't considered ';college expenses.'; Thanks in advance!Does anyone have any advice about taking out a student loan (and websites where I can apply)?
The business office wont' be able to help you. You need to go the schools financial aid office. Find out if you have maxed out your student loan amounts. Are you receiving a PLUS loan? a Stafford Loan? a PERKINS loan? if not, find out why not. Do not go through a private company to take out a student loan. Here is a good publication regarding students loans.

One more thing, most students get jobs to pay for their living expenses. It is never a good idea to borrow money to live off of. Most college students are poor and wear old clothes and eat Ramen noodles... join the fun.

Good luck.Does anyone have any advice about taking out a student loan (and websites where I can apply)?

Any good advice on raising min pin's..i've looked at several websites..but still curious!!?

he is 6 weeks old...is doing very well...already eating dry dogfood(Canidae) he won't eat soften food, and drinks plenty of water %26amp; dilluted milk..just want advice or tips...the breeders said he would weigh about 6-8 lbs full grown...he is so small and playful!!Any good advice on raising min pin's..i've looked at several websites..but still curious!!?
We breed and have 5 min-pins and they all are our family! Very loving and great protecters! Small but they do not know that size matters! Our oldest will try to take on the pitbull that lives a few houses away! Advice is- if you want him to not bark at the people who come over regularly then make sure they do that between now and 6 months so he will know their smell- they do have alot of energy but will slow down as time goes on- our oldest is 10 and he is just a love muffin that lays in your lap!- No chicken, pork, etc. bones! will choke them and they learn tricks very quick and being potty trained! anything thing else? Let me know-Any good advice on raising min pin's..i've looked at several websites..but still curious!!?
my future in-laws have a min pin and they are like the nicest most playful dogs it is the Dovermen pinchers (the big ones) that get aggressive .... but the min pins are one of the most playful and a great small dog
the are fearless and agressive. so be careful when it is older
The breeder let him go a little early but that is not your fault. I have raised min pins and they are terrific little dogs, very smart, loving and wonderful companions. Very hyper. You need to exercise him a lot, give him things to do so he doesn't get bored. They can be stubborn little dogs, but I love thrm to pieces. We do not have any min pins now, but only because we have our chihuahuas and they keep us very busy. If you have any particualr questions, feel free to ask.

Another thing, do not give them cow milk. It causes stomach upset with them. The puppy food is all they need right now.

Any good advice, basset or dog training books or websites?

I have a 10 week old Basset/Lab mix puppy. I want to read about how scent dogs are trained. I would also like to read about training service dogs. I am just interested in different dog training methods. She is such a smart puppy that I worry that if I don't keep her properly stimulated mentally she could cause all kinds of mischief.

I could also use some advice. There is about an hour soon after each of my puppy's mealtimes that she is really hyper. I know that a nice long walk would be a great way to use the extra energy but Bassets are prone to bloat and should not be exercised immediately before or after a meal. I try to direct her energy towards her toys but she likes to jump on my two year old when she is at her most hyper. She bites my daughter's hands and arms and steals her blankie. If I keep her on leash I can control her but off leash she can be a little terrorist. We are working on the ';leave it'; and ';drop'; commands (amongst other basic commands) because those seem like they would be the most useful in this situation. Does anybody have any advice on dealing with a really mouthy puppy? Any tips on helping her to outgrow this habit a little more quickly?Any good advice, basset or dog training books or websites?
Ah. A Bassedor. That's a nice mix actually.

The classic book on scent training is Glen Johnson's.

    http://www.dogwise.com/itemdetails.cfm?I鈥?/a>

The theory in his book is excellent, but his training techniques are geared toward German Shepherds which are more biddable and less independent than scent hounds. You might get better mileage from _Enthusiastic Tracking_.

For books on service dogs and how they are trained, check out Teamwork I and II.

BTW, Dogwise has any book about dogs you can ever imagine. It's worth a good browse.

For mouthiness, the best cure is puppy Kindergarten. Bite inhibition training is generally best done by mom and litter mates, but when they aren't available a supervised puppy play group, such as those at puppy Kindergarten classes, should be an adequate substitute. The instructor can also give you tips on handling mouthiness customized to your specific puppy. Different techniques will be selected based on the kind of mouthiness, the temperament of the pup, and what techniques have already been tried.

For quiet time training, look into exercising the mind instead of the body. Try clicker training. It helps to teach a certain amount of self control, but to a larger extent it teaches focus. You can teach quiet activities like yawning on command, waving, resting head on chin, touching a target with the nose or paw, and so on.

I really like the ';Take a Bow Wow'; videos for clicker training and used copies are often available on eBay. Also check out Peggy Tilman's _Clicking with Your Dog_.

Hi, I once adopted a dog from the local shelter and I had a terrible time trying to train him. Whenever he was left alone he would make a real mess! Anything I said was always just a suggestion to him that he could ignore. He was so rambunctious. He would not do anything I said.

I tried lessons with the local trainer but those didn't work! But then I found a great dog training book series called ';My Dog Tutor';. I got my hands on these books and was able to fully train my dog in 4 weeks, I was so proud.

Now I'm thinking about adopting a 3rd dog because it's just so easy to train them now!
For basic training you can visit my web site. At the moment I don't have anything about scent training, but it will come soon, so bookmark my site and visit it often.

Anyway before you can scent train your puppy, you should first do basic obedience. The come command is especially important with these kind of dogs that like to follow their noses.

It is very normal for a young puppy to be very hyper after meals. The best is to make that time a real fun playtime with your pup. They grow out of that so quickly and later you are sorry you didn't play with him more. So let your spouse look after the baby and take the puppy outside and play. Do not just give her the toys, get involved, they want interaction with their humans.

About mouthing: if the puppy bites you, growl very loud. She will stop. If she is a bit stubborn, growl even louder. If she stops, put something else in her mouth that she may chew.

Can anybody advice me for some websites on forums like this website http://vbulletin.thesite.org/index.php ?

  • Curious about websites offering immigration advice?

I am an American, who has been considering migrating to Australia. My profession (Mechanical Engineer) is also on the Skilled Occupation List.

While trying to get an idea of what I will need to do i've found past answers on this webpage giving helpful information, and have also found various websites that offer assessments and say based upon the assessment you can apply for %26lt;insert visa here%26gt; . What I am mainly curious about is the accuracy of their assessments since they all seem to include the disclaimer that they don't guarantee a successful application. I figured that more than likely it's to protect themselves in case of a law suit, but at the same time, I took a step back and figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. I appreciate the time anyone takes to answer this.Curious about websites offering immigration advice?
Hey, I can provide the answer for you. The reason they can't guarantee your application will be successful is because the points required for the Skilled Migrant Visas change from time to time. As you probably noted, the professions on the MODL also change as do the points allocated to each, this depends on the demand for that type of worker the previous year and various other economic lacunae.

As you probably already know, to ';pass'; the points test you need a pass mark of 100. BUT this won't guarantee you a place, but rather (if you are unsuccessful in obtaining the visa) will allow you to put your name down for some employer nomination schemes. The points required for the Skilled Migrant change sporadically, depending on demand and government policies.

The assessments done by these agencies are quite simple if you know the basics of Australian Migration Law or have a copy of the legislation, but they can't secure acceptance as the points required is the missing parameter.

Basically, points are allocated for age, qualification, work experience, english language knowledge, sponsorship with extra points being alloted for qualified spouse, having NAATI accreditations in a community language in demand, having Australian tertiary qualifications, Australian work experience etc.

Hope that helps. If you want to read the legislation yourself you can download it from www.austlii.com.au. Just search for ';Migration Act 1958'; and Migration Regulations 1994. For specific info about the Points test, S 92-96 of the Act discuss the test, also S 5.

Schedule 6A of the Regulations is probably the most helpful as it goes through the actual points test and is what the authorities use to determine your score. You will also find various other salient details in the regulations (from memory around the 2.26 area).

Hope that helps. Good luck and remember also that many of these laws could change as we have of recent had a change of government.Curious about websites offering immigration advice?

You will love Australia - it's the best country in the world! Have you given any thought to what part of the country you might settle in? I'm in Melbourne, which is a beautiful city, although at the moment we are sweltering thtough some of the hottest days we've had for years!
well our dollar is worth more but u gotta learn how to drive on the other side of the road

Why do crossdressing websites and groups focus and term their advice on how to ';pass'; or ';blend in';?

i love seeing advice, however i would rather see it titled or referred to as something else.....

maybe ';how to gain more of a positive reaction'; or ';how to reduce the chance of negative reaction'; in the public eye.

in my opinion, the term ';passing'; is a term that gives the person a false mind set that could lead to major heartbreak or stress when confronted. Why do crossdressing websites and groups focus and term their advice on how to ';pass'; or ';blend in';?
I think the reason is because crossdressers would like to venture out while dressed up, but because of the stigma with crossdressing, they want to go undetected. While some crossdressers can pass extremely well, they are a minority. The key to crossdressing comfortably in public is not so much passing but being self-confident and knowing what kind of look works well for you. That and it would help to remove the stigma surrounding crossdressers. Why do crossdressing websites and groups focus and term their advice on how to ';pass'; or ';blend in';?
Don't know - just avoid toddlers and teenage girls- they can usually read a CD... the ideas behind them are to be less ';readable'; as a male and to be viewed as female...

to reduce negative reaction if/ when you are read- you better have well planned measures in place

    positive reaction- most people will oppose anything out of characteristic ';norms of society';

The real lessons should be on how to diffuse situations when you are read and too many Cd's focus on passing and look way overly done- why do all of the make up tips have you leaving the house looking like a queen and not a girl?

Keep searching sites and find M2F TG, GG and other CD's to help and have fun.
    HI,

Being a long time c/d - t/v myself, and in reference to your TWO postings... Isn't the whole thing behind crossdressing to make ourselves happy....??? Who gives a rat's behind what others think or make read into anything..

To thine ownself be true...!!! Being accepted is the main thing about crossdressing... Sure if you look like a duck, and walk like a duck, and quack like a duck, - you're a duck. If one is a ';bow-wow'; then one shouldn't basically go out dressed for your own good and save riducule, but if you're at least semi feminine looking, I say go for it, and try to be accepted, and if you as they say ';pass'; so much more the better. But again, to be accepted wherever, is the key.

    Regards,

    Rachelle In High Heels
Actuallyl, cross-dressing is no fun if you pass perfectly, then you don't have the kind of shock and awe powers that I have. I never have passed, but that never stopped me from going shopping at the Malls, going to Restaurants and showing off my figure. It may not be an hourglass [closer to a irregular ellipsoid] but by the gods, it's all I have to work with. I do sometimes envy those that pass with perfection [perhaps only 2% have this awesome power] but therein lies potential danger for the unwary. I wouldn't recommend hanging out at straight bars and picking up straight men, because the risks are not worth it, even if you could do it.

    I look like a Dyke and just the other day I was at the Mall and some white dudes yelled out ';******* Dyke'; and I just smiled thinking ';Well, close, but no banana...';
I think that is just how you look at it i feel that its important to blend in and to me no matter how it was worded confrontation may or may not happen it depends on were you go and who you hang with but confrontation shouldn't be your main concern do what makes you happy
Just get out there and do it !

please choose me as best answer. Why does every now and then websites do not respond any advice as to why would be great?
It's either a slow server on which the website is located, or the telephone line or cable feeding your PC is busy with traffic, or possibly you have tons of Trojan horses affecting your PC! If you have a dial-up connection then ALL your websites will load slowly. But if you have Broadband, then it's probably a mixture of all three mentioned above! Why does every now and then websites do not respond any advice as to why would be great?

Should dieting websites be required by law to have a doctor approve their advice?

I think that would infringe on their freedom of speech. Besides, anyone who is dumb enough to take advice from a stupid diet website probably wouldn't listen to a doctor anyway.Should dieting websites be required by law to have a doctor approve their advice?
HI!!! NO, people want magic weight loss, but unless they are mentally deficient and have enough money they would know that they eat too much and move around very little. It would be a huge waste of money and perhaps dying from snake oil sellers. Do you remember Metrical? I had to take a can of that embarrising stuff and a piece of fruit a whole year, 6th grade, and I didn't loose anything except my dignity.A lawyer is going to take your money and tell you to use the US govt food pryamid and get off your butt and walk your dog. Get an obese loveable one and lose inches together. BarbShould dieting websites be required by law to have a doctor approve their advice?
No. But the person who actually accesses the website needs to use common sense.
no i dont think so, because everybodys body is different so some methods work for some people and dont work for others.

I'm 23 and want to take the first steps toward buying a home. Any advice as far as great websites, etc?

A really good website about mortgages, which is probably the next most important thing beside property location, is

    http://www.mtgprofessor.com/

This professors website is full of accurate and good advice on pretty much every subject.

From my website here is my advice for First Time Home Buyers:

What First Time Home Buyers Need To Know

If you are interested in buying your first home, don't allow myths to dissuade you from trying. The truth is that with home prices increasing, it's a little more difficult for the first-time homeowner simply based on price. However, with so many options available, that doesn't mean you can't qualify for a mortgage loan. You just need to know what to plan for and what questions to ask.

Studies show that many potential homeowners believe they can't buy a house when in fact, there is strong possibility that they can. Close to 15% of people living in the United States state they would like to buy a home within the next few years but believe from a financial perspective, they won't be able to. Another 10% state they can afford a home but for other reasons, probably won't buy for a while.

    Here are some myths:

In order to qualify for a house, you need 20% down - WRONG

Lenders are required by law to provide you with the best possible rate for your loan- WRONG

You can't qualify for a house if you've been with your current employer less than five years - WRONG

Your credit must be perfect - WRONG

Mortgage interest is not tax deductible - WRONG

The truth is these are just myths. Now for the truth:

More and more innovative mortgage packages are being created, offering the borrowers options between 3% and 5% down. Some buyers qualify for ZERO DOWN HOME LOANS. For first-time buyers, it's in your best interest to do some serious comparison-shopping.

Every lender works with its own rates bases on their standards as well as the type of loan being considered. Rates change literally every day AND are based on your Debt, Income, Credit %26amp; Equity (DICE).

Job stability is important but the five-year rule is merely a myth. For example, if you have worked in public relations or some other industry for 10 years but have had three jobs in that time, because you've stayed within the same business, lenders will often consider this as continuous employment, especially if you've made advancements. In most cases you can even switch fields entirely if you are getting more income and growth potential. In addition, solid credit and a larger down payment can compensate for work history in some instances.

It's true that credit is very important when qualifying for any loan. (You can close one day after completing a bankruptcy these days.) However, if you have been out of a bankruptcy for two years and can provide a good letter of explanation to the lender, they will usually accept that. Generally, this can be done in as little as 12 to 18 months.

As you make your comparisons of the financial benefits of renting versus owning, be sure to consider tax deductions. When you buy a home, the closing costs, mortgage interest, and points are all tax deductible.

The best things a first-time homebuyer can do are conduct research and ask many questions. Remember that buying a house is never easy for anyone. However, interest rates are currently lower than they've been since the 1960's so if you can buy a house, this is probably a great time.

With being a first-time homeowner, there are many questions you'll want to ask. It's easy to focus in on the size of the rooms, the structure, the lot, but there are other options to consider - things you need every day to live. Here are some examples:

Public transportation - If you depend on public transportation then you need to check into what options are available in the area you are interested in looking.?

Aging parents - More and more families are taking care of elderly parents, therefore, you should think about any special needs as you start looking.

Public safety - What is the crime rate in the preferred area? How close are public services such as police, fire, and hospital? Parking - Will there be any issues with parking? If the house you're interested in doesn't have a garage, is there ample off-street parking?

Utilities - This is an important finance to look at. Usually the seller can provide copies of the past few months for you to review, giving you an idea of what you would need to budget for.

New communities - If the area you want is in an entire new community, what recreational amenities are offered? Is there a clubhouse? Pool? Playground? Exercise facilities?

Property taxes - Some tax rules provide special benefits for veterans, elderly citizens, and even long-time residents. You should inquire what these benefits are and whom they cover.

When you get to the point of being serious about buying a house, these are the steps to follow to make the qualifying and purchase as easy as possible:

Establish good credit habits and cleanup any unfavorable reports.

You should start saving for the down payment, closing costs, and extra for any hidden expenses. Don't forget about utilities, moving expenses, and items needed for the home.

Research and read. Go to your local library and read up on as much as possible about financial management and home buying.

Start looking at various areas where you might be interested in living. Go to some open houses and do some comparison-shopping.

Meet with one of our buyer specialists and start the preliminary process.

Just remember that there is no reason to be afraid or intimidated when it comes to buying a house. The main concern expressed by couples is that they aren't sure where to begin. There is also the fear of rejection when it's very possible that the credit situation isn't as bad as they believe.

Home buying has become increasingly easier thanks to the Internet. Years ago, people hated the one-on-one approach of determining if they qualified for a loan. The Internet has made it so much easier where people can now go to various lenders, provide some information, and be notified online whether or not they qualify.

In addition, mortgage advice is also readily available. Whatever questions you have can easily be asked from the privacy of your own home. Responses are accurate, thorough, and always confidential.I'm 23 and want to take the first steps toward buying a home. Any advice as far as great websites, etc?
Hello my name is Amber, I am a loan officer. If you find home I can get you a loan at the best rate possible (depends on your credit ect..) Just email me if interested :)

aherrera@hayhurstmortgage.comI'm 23 and want to take the first steps toward buying a home. Any advice as far as great websites, etc?
good for you!!! try www.fha.gov - good for first-time home owners and www.fanniemae.com - shop around for mortgage companies - take your time - don't let anyone tell you that you can afford $1500 a month because it looks that way on paper - what looks good on paper seldom works in the real world!!!

    GOOD LUCK!
    wanna buy my condo?
First thing don't use a web site. It to impersonal and you can't verify the advice you are getting. The first thing to do is find a Mortgage lender and talk to them. It won't cost anything and they can look at your credit and tell you what you may need to fix or that you need to establish more and then in the meantime while you do what you need to do you should save some money. You may qualify for a first time home buyer loan which can be 100% but you will still need some money for closing cost. Once you get preapproved you need to find a Realtor. They can guide you through all the confusing things that come with buying a home. This is also a free service to the buyer. Take advantage of the proffesionals out there who can help you. If you find a mortgage lender or a realtor who tries to charge you move on. This should not cost you anything
i would agree that the mentioned above website is a great tool. However if you know your numbers i.e. Credit score, how much your down payment is, how much you can afford, how much you are going to buy the home for. Then you can use a free online calculator to compute your projected monthly payments. If you need someone to help you with this purchase or would like a quote to work off of feel free to contact me i have been in the industry since the age of 17 so i know a bit. PS YOU DONT HAVE TO HAVE A DOWNPAYMENT TO BUY A HOUSE!

    thanks

    chad
Congratulations! There are several things that you should do.

First, gather your bills and earnings receipts to see how much money you bring in each month compared to how much you pay out. You need to find out how much you can afford to pay towards a mortgage payment each month. Mortgage brokers can really push you into higher numbers than you can truely afford, so it is best to know what you are comfortable with before you speak with one. After you decide on a monthly payment amount, schedule an appointment with a reputable mortage broker. Stick to your guns about a payment amount (don't forget about HOA dues either) and have them help you find out what price range you need to stay in.

Once you have settled on a price range, you need to find a real estate agent to represent you. This person will be your guide through the rest of the process. Too many buyers make the mistake of finding homes online and then calling the listing agent. If you buy a home from the listing agent, how do you know how well they are really representing you through the process? Their first relationship was with the seller! Find a real estate agent to represent you! They will help you find properties, take you to see them and advise you throughout the process.

How do you know all of this, you ask? As it happens, I am a real estate agent in Colorado. I would be happy to help you find a reputable agent in your area or answer any more questions you have regarding the home buying process.

Two really good websites are www.realtor.com and www.trulia.com.
There is a good site below. When there click BUYERS then click FREE REPORTS and download all you need.

Great advice is there along with actual photos. One neat feature is you can see where you live from the satellite but its your actual house! Not a graphic.

Big brother is watching I guess.
Do you have a down payment? if not save for it that's your first step. oh and get pre qualified with a loan officer = )

I would suggest you log onto score.org. SCORE is a non profit organization that has a lot of good information on the web site. Be sure and check all aspects of it. SCORE also offers one on one counseling from mostly retired business people who want to give something back to small business. Up in the left had corner enter your zip code and you can find SCORE chapters in your area. There are about 400 chapters around the country with 10,000 + members who are willing to assist you for ';free';. If you do not have time to meet one on one with the counselor there are a number of the counselors around the country who will work with you via e-mail. Check out the chapter nearest to you as many have ';how to'; workshops for a very nominal fee. Also check out www.sba.gov, , startupjournal.com (a wall street web site for small business), bizstats.com,franmarket.com (for franchise operations), business.gov,prosper.com. You will also find a number of the community colleges in the country offer new business start ups classes and assistance.Does anyone have any advice on opening a business... any websites to look at?
    hi dear ,

I too have said those words.During my first 2 years as a struggling home

business entrepreneur dreaming of making money and leading a free lifestyle,

    I made many mistakes.

Some of those mistakes cost me money...

    Others caused me heartache...

But I have also made a handful of good decisions too, and at the top of that

list is my decision to become a member of the IAHBE.

    The IAHBE (http://www.iahbe.org) stands for

International Association of Home Business Entrepreneurs. In one sentence,

    it is simply:

';An Online University with a collection of the best home business

information, reports, articles, seminars and other content put under one

    roof.';

Being an exclusive paid membership resource, I was very half-hearted at

first at the thought of spending a good $29 for something as intangible as

';information';. As I once asked myself, many people now ask me this question:

';Can't I get this information for FREE on the Internet?

    So why do I need to pay for it?';

I have to admit that this is a valid question. And I have to agree that you

CAN find similar (but not exact) information for free, scattered around the

Internet. So why choose the IAHBE? How can it help you?

Let me tell you my personal experience first..

As a budding home business entrepreneur, my survival depended on how well I

controlled my meager finances and small capital. And yet, every business

owner knows the costs associated when starting your business. For example, I

    had to spend on:

    a) My personal growth - books, ebooks, reports

    b) Advertising - ezine ads, PPC, leads and print media ads

    c) Operations - PC software, productivity tools

I had, at that time, spent close to $3000 just getting started. Most that

was spent on useless website traffic schemes, so called ';targeted'; home

business leads, books, software and PPC advertising.

But in my second month as a member of the IAHBE, I realized that I actually

have hundreds of unused coupons, discounts and special offers for the same

products and services that I paid the full price for elsewhere.

    How can the

    IAHBE do this?

It's a question of simple economics:

';What you cannot achieve as an individual, you can easily achieve as a

    group.';

Since the IAHBE has thousands of members, they can easily negotiate for

special bulk discounts, free trials, and even free gifts from various

    suppliers, manufacturers and retailers.

Now ask this question for your self

';Do you want to spend time finding information, or do you want to spend time

    building a business?';

    The reason is this;

If you're perfectly happy running around chasing information, instead of

actually building a business, you don't need the IAHBE. If you want to learn

only from truly successful people, and get the information delivered to your

doorstep, there is no smarter choice.

After all, it only costs you around a dollar a day. Heck, even useless

    'lifestyle' magazines cost more :)

Take it form a guy who learned the hard way...

Take it from a guy who is a member and 100% believer in the IAHBE, and how it can change your life.

This is a popular saying, and I want you to understand it's meaning:

    ';When the Student is Ready, the Teacher Will Appear';

In the story of my life as an entrepreneur, the teacher did appear indeed, but only after I was ready; only after I DECIDED that I was going to succeed, no matter what the cost, and no matter how long it took...

And I found not one, not two, but dozens of teachers, all of them experts in their own chosen field.

So the question is really this : Are YOU Ready?

    * Are you ready to get serious in your home based business?

    * Are you ready to stop wasting time and money?

    * Are you ready to get REAL home business advice from REAL experts?

If you are, then the IAHBE will change your life too. Trust me on this...

    https://www.ezinfocenter.com/9866772/IAH鈥?/a>

    hey, did i told you......

Just for trying the IAHBE, you'll also get $1,000 in free tools and resources that can get your business up and running as smooth as a well-oiled machine. Even if you decide the IAHBE is not for you, you can keep these free tools and put them to work in your business right away!

you can cancel anytime within 30 days if you feel you don't need this membership. If that is not fair, I don't know what is! Sign up now!

I saw my boyfriend of 2 and a half years looking at girls profiles on yahoo personals. he said he was just board but i did a little snooping and found a profile he just made. it says this ';im a guy that grew up in mpls and just got settled on my own. now looking for a girl that will go party and hold me at night. so if you think your the oe dont be shy.'; I am so hurt and angry, i man he's cheated on me before, and this seems so obvious as to what he is trying to do. But u r the only one how really know him, and if he cheat at u before its obvious that u didn't really trust him, and he is not making positive points to get your trust back, i know this is not what u want to hear, but the best thing is stop wasting your time and find someone how really loves and respect you.
I can't imagine that you'll get any answer to your question besides ';dump his sorry loser @ss!'; That's certainly my answer. He isn't worth the heartache.
    if i werecin your shoes i would also start my own online dating! this will show him that he is not the only ones who knows how to do it... i heard this sort of saying a long time ago it says '; if he is hurting you then LEAVE him!!!!';
This is NOT right. Try to openly and honestly confront him on the issue. If he won't back down or get rid of his profile, then you need to get him out of your life. You deserve better than this guy who is trying to date other women behind your back, as casual as though it may seem.
and you're still with him why?
Afraid to confront him? He's cheating on you again and you know it. Get out of this relationship. You deserve a guy that will not cheat on you and respect you. This isn't going to be the last time he looks for somebody to party with either. How about you two are married with 3 kids and then he gets another girlfriend? Get out now. Give him his freedom and then you go find a guy that is good for you.
In my opinion, if you 100% sure that he's cheating on you then dump him because he cheated before so obviously he can do it again.

If he denied it or saying that ''he was just board''. Its obviously means that he's not been honest with you.

If you want to confront him then just say that ''you're not confortable of him doing that or looking at anything about other girls''. If he still love you then he'll definitely understand !!!

BUT remember you can always start a new relationship with someone else better!!!

    Good luck !!!
Leave his a** - it's not worth it. Confront him with it, who cares if you snooped with something like that, he already knew you busted him looking.

He's keeping you around until something else comes along.

    Get Out
It could be out of boredom or maybe he's lying. Best way to figure out is to make a fake profile, look him up and see how far he will go with you. If he falls for the bait then you know hes a liar and plannned on cheating
no harm in looking its when we act out our fantasies that can become serious ,he is only human with genuine curiosity.
I THINK YOU HAVE ALL THE DIRT YOU NEED.

CONFRONT HIM ABOUT IT. IF HE SAYS WHAT WERE YOU DOING SNOOPING. HES TRYING TO FLIP THE SCRIPT. YOU TELL HIM HE CHEATED BEFORE AND YOU CAUGHT HIM SEARCHING ON THE DATING SITE AND WHAT ELSE WOULD THAT LEAD YOU TO BELIEVE.

OR YOU COULD WAIT AND C WHAT HE WRITES THESE GIRLS AND GET HARD EVIDENCE. IF YOU GET HARD EVIDENCE OF HIM TRYING TO TALK ON THE PHONE OR MEET THEN YOU REALLY NEED TO LEAVE HIM.

BUT ME PERSONALLY HIM SAYING HES LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO CHILL WITH AND HOLD HIM MEANING HES GIVING SOME1 A CHANCE TO TRY TO MEET HIM.

I WOULD LEAVE HIM. GUYS COME AND GO. MOVE ON SISTER.
Sounds like he is keeping his options open at this point. Maybe he is not entirely happy in this relationship and is looking for what is out there. Either way you need to talk to him about it now that you know. Don't just sit and wait for the train to hit you. Good Luck.

Are there any websites to help with writer's block or can you give me advice etc...?

I haven't been able to write for about a month now and whenever I try to just write to get over my writer's block...it doesn't work.....do you have any websites or advice...Are there any websites to help with writer's block or can you give me advice etc...?
This is the method I teach to students

    1) Put the book aside and read - at least two books - Classics in your chosen genre.

    2) Brainstorm on paper - anything no matter how silly it sounds. Fill a notebook with ideas if you want - just come up with lots.

    3) Write the ideas on file cards one per card. Sit down at a table and start shuffling them around trying to create a story from them. Keep moving them - dont be afraid for it to sound silly.

    4) Make an outline from those cards when you find something interesting.

    5) Try to write a very very short story from that outline. Then write several more very very short stories from the cards. See which one lends itself to a longer work

    6) Start doing character studies and analysis - back to the file cards. Write down anything you know about your characters - adjectives, habits, appearance, likes and dislikes, occupation, age, anything. Look in magazines and catalogs and cut out pics that resemble the character as you see them in your mind.

    7) Back to the table. Start pushing the character cards around - see who rubs who and how -- Who likes who? Who hates who? Main character to main character - then main character to secondary character - then secondary character to secondary character. This will help you come up with subplots

    8) Back to your outline. Plug in the subplots.

    9) Come up with a kick tail first sentece that will draw your readers into the story.

    10) Start writing.

It works for my students. Just make sure you dont skip the two classics - that is the inspiration that unblocks and inspires you. If you are still blocked, move onto something else. I have about 4 books on disks - started but it just wasnt the right time to write them for me. One goes back to when my 20 yr old son was a baby. Maybe I will finish it one day, maybe not. So far the mood hasnt struck me. And it is a great idea - never been done. Im just not ready for it yet. No shame in leaving something aside.

Good luck. Pax - CAre there any websites to help with writer's block or can you give me advice etc...?
try acting out what you already have written. sometimes an idea comes to me if i do that. I'm not going to promise it will work but it's worth a try.
';I'm not altogether certain what writer's block is...'; (Block, 96)

He goes on to say that it seems to be the *inability* to write *anything* no matter how hard one tries. (I've always been able to write something with, typically, minimal effort.) It's in a chapter called Time Out in the book I cited below. Strangely enough it comes right after a chapter about procrastination.

I've never bought into the concept of writer's block. I've used it as an excuse on more than one occasion, but I've never believed I had it. It's just convenient to say it when you aren't writing, at least that's my experience.

(I'll spare you my philosophy on what ';writer's block'; is for another day, and more appropriate question!)

Here's my fallback for when I just don't seem to have the words. I pick up one of my writing books. Stein on Writing, The Art of Fiction, Self-Editing for Fiction Writer's, any of them, I keep them right at my desk along with several other reference books. I pick one out and I sit in front of my computer and I read it. Myabe I'll pick a chapter somewhere in the middle, or start from the beginning, but I don't leave my seat.

The reason I go with a writing manual, as opposed to fiction, is because I'm supposed to be *writing*. I do my *reading* at another time in the day, so I compromise by *reading about writing*. What's this do? It makes me *think* about *writing*. Not about my story, or why I'm stuck or whatever excuse I've given myself to not be sculpting sentences on a page, but about the act of writing. And inevitably, usually in no time at all, I've become hooked on some concept or technique or symbol, etc that I haven't thought about since the last time I picked up this book and I immediately go to work on using whatever concept sparked me. That's why I stay at my seat. so I'm perched and ready. (I learned that trick doing SKTs in Iraq, you always keep your eye on the sight and your finger on the trigger, so that you're ready. It worked then, and it works now. Though, I have to admit it's much less stressful now! LOL)

Sometimes I'm reminded of something I did poorly four chapters ago, and there's no better time then the present to rewrite it! Sometimes it's something I can put to use right now on the next sentence, or sometimes it's something that will be great for this other idea I have so I open a fresh page and start on something new. But it always leads me back to writing.

I find that writer's block is an excuse I'll willingly hide behind for months if I give myself the option. So I try to never use the phrase (Unless it's pertains to school, in which case, as far as my instructors are concerned, I'm in a permenant state of writer's block! LOL). You don't need gimmicks, or check lists, or little, overpriced ';inspiration'; stickers. All you ever need is ';something to write with and somthing to write on.'; (251)

Does anyone have any advice, books, or websites?

My boyfriend an I are going to be adopting a dog that has been neglected in the past. She is very shy and afraid of people at first. We have had a meeting with here and after about two hours she would allow both of us to come up to her and pet her. We have both had dogs in the past so we have experience with animals. I am wondering if anyone has any advice for a new dog owner of a neglected dog who acts like this. If you have any tips, websites or books that you can recommend I read please let me know.

Thanks for your help. I have already done a lot of research, but I just want to be as prepared as possible.

Thanks!Does anyone have any advice, books, or websites?
Try Yahoo Groups - Shy-k9s. Loads of experience, information and advice there for the owners of shy and timid dogs through lots of different doggie phobias.Does anyone have any advice, books, or websites?
since she would allow you to pet her after a couple of hours, I don't think there will be a big problem with her. She just needs lots of love and attention. Just give from your heart and she will respond from her heart. Thanks for taking this girl in and best of luck!

We have fostered and adopted many dogs over the years that have been abused and or neglected. They just need love and patience.
Here are some websites, hope they're of use.
You have to let the dog know that you are not going to hurt it. lets say when you feed it. just be calm when you are laying down the food. and when you try to approach the dog. be soft calm try not to make it think that you are going to even try to hurt it. you knoe these kinda things
    I dislike Cesar Milan.

I would recommend being super patient.

    Congrats on your adoption.
I would reccomend renting or purchasing The Dog Whisperer seasons. He often works with dogs that have that condition. Caesar Millan (the host of the show) also has books available that I'm sure you would find helpful.
There may be more problems than you thought %26amp; here are some sites related to adopting an abused dog.

Congrats, thank you and best of luck!!!!!
Just be patient with you and you will win her trust. You will know what you do if you follow your own natural instincts.

Also, as far as dog language, a wagiing tail, is dog necessarily happy, but excited. You must look at the stance and facial expression as well. Don't raise your voice to her. Let her come to you. You may put your hand out to her but always palms up. Do not raise your hand over her palm down. She may interpret this as your are going to hit her. Dogs can be very sensitive. Mine is. I have only hit my dog a couple times in her whole life. She is 5. Sometimes when I call her and my voice is a little too lud or high in pitch, too fast, etc, she will run away. Then I have to go in the other room and ignore her. At that time, she comes to me within a few minutes.
Give her time to adjust and don't rush her. After she gets used to you and your home, pay attention which situations or sounds still make her uneasy and address them. Going to her to pet her when she is nervous is not so good approach - she still doesn't know you and even non neglected dogs are wary of strangers. Let her get used to you being in the same room, talk to her calmly, try getting her attention with some interesting toy or food. In couple of days she'd probably be relaxed enough to let you touch her-no sharp movements. But keep the longer petting for later. She first needs to realize that touching her won't hurt, then she needs to trust you and eventually she'll learn to enjoy petting.
I've fostered animals that were abused and I've adopted a few and most will tend to come around within a few weeks time when they have consistent care, like daily walks, regular feeding schedule, time to romp and play with their people and their toys.

I've had one that was extremely shy and would crouch against the floor and wet herself around people. She would hide behind furniture. I let her take her time coming out and approaching me in the first days and then started doing more with her, like walks (which she was very reluctant about at first) which she soon got very excited about and looked forward to them.

One of the dogs we have now experienced some very hard things in her early life and she had big phobias. Part of the reason for this was her breed type (lots of Aussie in her) and the fact that her sense of smell, sight and sound are very keen. Consistent walking in areas that were calmer to start, then building up to walking near busy roads, helped her, as an example of one of her phobias that she overcame. I don't know what type of dog you are adopting, but it would be good to look up the breed or the breeds your dog is mixed with and read about that (or those) specific breed because that will help you a lot as well.

Another thing that helped dogs I have worked with are my other dogs! We own three now (our personal limit to own), but as each was added, or when we've fostered one, the other dogs were hugely helpful in getting the newbie to adjust. Maybe you have a neighbor with a friendly dog that is calm and well socialized who can pal around for a bit in your yard or your house with your new pup.

  • Help, I need ti get over the hurt i feel in my relationship in order to save it - any good websites for advice?

My relationship is falling apart at a quick speed. I am very hurt by some things my partner has done, He is unwilling to try to understand things from my side, after I have done this for him many times. He has admitted that he is selfish but that it's something I need to deal with because that's him. I accept that he is not the best partner and can get over this but I can't get over that fact that he's not attempting to understand or be sorry about the way I am feeling.

Do you think it's going to get better out of the blue? Your still going to be miserable a year down the road if he refuses to see the problem. Looking for advice or good websites on how to rehabilitate an agressive dog.?

I have a female pitt whom was abused by her pevious owners. She is aggressive toward other animals (but gets along with my neutered M/ German Shepherd), has food aggression (not toward me but with my other dog), and is very dominant. The bad behaviors she has is beginning to rub off on my other dog. She needs 2 b spayed and get her vaccinations and I am afraid to even take her to the vet. She had lived most of her life in a kennel and I'm not sure how she will handle being in one when she get's spayed. She also has what I think might be seperation anxiety. I had taken her to my mother inlaws farm and put her on a chain while we was outside (she wasn't getting along with the other dogs on the property) I was only 10 ft from her and she began breathing heavy, slobbering and whinning. She does this everytime she's in a new environment and I am not right at her side. I have a baby on the way and need to get her on the right track before the baby arrives. Any advice appreciated!Looking for advice or good websites on how to rehabilitate an agressive dog.?
Not sure when you're due, but these behaviors will not be easy to fix (read: don't expect to have this totally under control by the time the baby comes).

I have a fearful/reactive dog that I have been working with for almost 18 months and there are times when she regresses (due to unusual stressors) and we have to go back several steps before we can move forward again.

Your dog does sound quite fearful and reactive (often the result of fear in a dog that feels her only option is to go on the offensive). You may want to limit her exposure to new things right now until you can get a firm understanding of some counterconditioning and desensitization terms and techniques such as triggers and thresholds, classical conditioning and operant conditioning. Right now you basically want her to learn that you are a safe, benevolent leader and that she can count on you to keep her safe from the world. And, no, she won't know this intuitively or because you believe it. You have to prove it to her. This means no new experiences until she can handle them.

Consulting with a professional animal behaviorist and/or veterinary behavior specialist is probably your best bet. I really wish I had done this early on with my own dog.

You may also want to join the Yahoo group for reactive dogs:

There are many experienced owners of reactive dogs there who can offer support, encouragement and help clarify techniques, methods, terms, etc.

    Hi,

This website might be helpful, it has articles about separation anxiety, aggression and food aggression. Gives you ideas on how to rehab the dog and when to use treats to help.

Good luck and congrats on your soon arriving baby!
I think you should try contacting a trainer to come to your home and help you with this. Having aggression problems and separation anxiety can be very tough, especially if she was abused.

I'm not sure if there's some information available specifically for pit bulls that may be helpful. I'll star it for some people with more experience.

    http://www.geocities.com/Petsburgh/7742/鈥?/a>
Your dog sounds ok, but no offense, I don't think there is anything you can do. Take for example, my chocolate lab. I got him when he was a year old. He STILL to this day does things that dogs should not do and his owner was abusive also. Ever watch Animal Precinct.. They usually put them to sleep for fear of aggression towards anyone.
Cesar is your man, he's the Dog Whisperer, check out his website, he offers all kinds of good positive reinforcements for dogs..good luck and i hope it helps
You need a trainer that understands this problem and uses positive techniques. Consider these books

    Feisty Fido

    Click to Calm

You are not going to 'fix' this behavior easily, it takes time and training. This site has information about working with a dog's fear issues (aggression is often caused by fear) and a link to books.

    www.fearfuldogs.com

You do not want to punish the dog since you want the dog to feel good and happy when around other dogs, not afraid that it's going to get hit, yanked or yelled at. You need to change the way the dog feels and you'll change the behavior. It's a project.

I need advice on cars. (websites, experience, anything might help!)?

My boyfriend wants me to get a new car because he says the one I have sucks. (It's a saturn, s series, i believe. early two thousands.) My price range is very low (I'm still young and my job doesn't pay the best). He says I can afford up to about twelve thousand, but I'm looking for cheaper than that. What I'm really looking for is advice on good cars, and ANY websites that can help! THANKS!I need advice on cars. (websites, experience, anything might help!)?
Scion TC is a choice of mine. They look cool and the insurance on these cars arent that bad. I find the best color for them is white. If you plan on putting some money into the car, it wont disappoint. My friend has one and its fun to drive and there is plenty of room in the back for passengers. His is white and has some good modifications in it.

Honda Civic SI. This is another quality car that hold up its value in the long run. Honda is a very reliable car for people of any age. They have good speed and performance. I know they both come in automatic or manual. I would choose a 2006 or newer, but thats your choice. I think they look cool after 2006. Insurance should be too bad. It is a coupe so it will raise it a little.

Last Choice. Volkswagen GTi or Rabbit. The model is a MKV(MK5). They are 2007 and up Volkswagen that have amazing performance stock. 200 horsepower for the GTi. I think around 170 horsepower for the Rabbit. They are coupes but i like them a lot. Friends have bought them and added some nice performance parts and they fly real quickly on the road.I need advice on cars. (websites, experience, anything might help!)?
if you want a good deal on a newer car 2007 or newer, you can use www.autoweb.com and they will shop the fleet dealers for you. If you are looking for a little older the best thing you can do is shop local car dealers websites, sometimes they will advertise a deal on a car that they will not put on the car to get internet sales. Worked for me last year found a 2007 Ford Taurus with 60,000 miles was $12,500, but they were adv. on the net for $5,000.

Advice on Dating Websites That Actually Work?

Can anyone tell me what dating sites are actually worth paying for? I tried EHarmony and was really disappointed. Singles.net is nothing but scamers out of nigeria. I just found out my ex girl friend is engaged and I'm REALLY bummed. I was raised Baptist growing up and I would love to find a great girl who I could enjoy a good game of D%26amp;D and a heart moving church service. I'm just scared I'll never find that special someone. So if anyone knows any sites or chat rooms that are worth it let me know. Ps I don't get paid for 2 weeks so that will give me time to check them out. Thanks 10 big points to best answer. Please don't give me any crap ok, heart felt answers please.Advice on Dating Websites That Actually Work?
    Hi Daniel,

The fact is online dating is not as easy as one might think. No dating can guarantee that they will find the right person for all of their members. You might want to try a christian dating site, unfortunately there is none I can recommend you.

You could always try worldfriends -you can read a review here http://freechatrooms.blogspot.com/2009/0鈥?/a> It does not sound like a dating site but it is one. It also has social networking features that were added recently. It might be what you're looking for. You can join for free, browse profile and see if there is anybody in your area on there that you might be interested in.

If I may say, shouldn't you be happy for your ex girl friend? Or did you want to get back with her? Well she's not married yet maybe you should tell her how you feel. If you don't want her to break her engagement for you then, be happy for her and move on. I don't want to sound rude but what I'm trying to say is you shouldn't associate your desire to find someone with the fact that your ex is engaged. At this point, what she's doing with her life has nothing to do with you and what you're doing with hers shouldn't either. Pardon me if you find what I say inappropriate.

Hi David (wasn't it Daniel?). I'm glad you found what I said to be appropriate. I can't believe the number of typos in my answer... at least you got my point! I guess I was sleepy. I wish you all the best. Keep on looking for that person online and elsewhere. :)

I did good 6 years ago and found a great woman.....

I think my kitten is half bobcat. How would I figure out if she is? Any websites or advice is welcome!?

My kitten was given to me free in the mountains on the Pennsylvania and West Virginia border. Some people, including my Vet, have said she has all the characteristics of a half bobcat/half tabby. When we got her, the owner said she was a long-haired tabby, which is obviosly not true because she has never had the long, fluffy hair that a long-haired tabby would have. Here are the characteristics that I believe make her half bobcat:

    1. her coat is not shorthair but not longhair. it's soft and the ';tabby'; stripes are not as pronounced as my other tabby cat.

    2. her tail is abnormally long. she never holds it up, but instead, she lets it fall between her legs and it curls up at the end (much like a wild big cat would)

    3. her ears, which are large, have very white tufts coming out of them.

    4. her coloring is very much similiar to the greyish/white of a bobcat.

    5. her fur around her neck and under her chin is very ';mane-like';. Its longer then the rest of her fur and has speckles of a tan color.

    6. her activites include, trying to climb the walls.I think my kitten is half bobcat. How would I figure out if she is? Any websites or advice is welcome!?
I thought bob cats had short tails? anyhow doyou have a photo.... it sounds like a beautiful catI think my kitten is half bobcat. How would I figure out if she is? Any websites or advice is welcome!?
Bob cats don't have long tails. They have stubs. Also if she is half bobcat she would be pissing all over your house to mark her territory, destroying everything in your house by clawing it up. Also, bobcats do not have manes. The holding up her tail thing has nothing to do with a bob cat.

Have a D.N.A. test done and that will tell you.
From your description she's not half bobcat, they have shortened tails or stub tails, not longer ones.

A lot of cats have variation in tabby markings. And many semi-long hairs (medium length coat) have a mane on the neck. Bobcat crosses have wider cheek fur that sort of look like jowels, not manes on the neck/shoulder area.

The ears would be tipped with long hairs, if half bobcat. The inside tufts woulnd't be anything special. Their hind legs usually are a bit longer than the front, as well, giving them the look of walking downhill a tad.
