he is 6 weeks old...is doing very well...already eating dry dogfood(Canidae) he won't eat soften food,and drinks plenty of water %26amp; dilluted milk..just want advice or tips...the breeders said he would weigh about 6-8 lbs full grown...he is so small and playful!!Any good advice on raising min pin's..i've looked at several websites..but still curious!!?
We breed and have 5 min-pins and they all are our family! Very loving and great protecters! Small but they do not know that size matters! Our oldest will try to take on the pitbull that lives a few houses away! Advice is- if you want him to not bark at the people who come over regularly then make sure they do that between now and 6 months so he will know their smell- they do have alot of energy but will slow down as time goes on- our oldest is 10 and he is just a love muffin that lays in your lap!- No chicken, pork, etc. bones! will choke them and they learn tricks very quick and being potty trained! anything thing else? Let me know-Any good advice on raising min pin's..i've looked at several websites..but still curious!!?
my future in-laws have a min pin and they are like the nicest most playful dogs it is the Dovermen pinchers (the big ones) that get aggressive .... but the min pins are one of the most playful and a great small dog
the are fearless and agressive. so be careful when it is older
The breeder let him go a little early but that is not your fault. I have raised min pins and they are terrific little dogs, very smart, loving and wonderful companions. Very hyper. You need to exercise him a lot, give him things to do so he doesn't get bored. They can be stubborn little dogs, but I love thrm to pieces. We do not have any min pins now, but only because we have our chihuahuas and they keep us very busy. If you have any particualr questions, feel free to ask.
Another thing, do not give them cow milk. It causes stomach upset with them. The puppy food is all they need right now.
