for a prom dress you need to find something that is not only attractive but also comfortable. if you are going to be dancing and moving around constantly you need to be comfortable- while a skin tight dress might be comfortable keep in mind that they leave nothing to the imagination. if you have very fair skin and dark hair try and avoid colours that will make you appear washed out. for example if you have a very pale complexion avoid something like a solid black or very dark purple, blue, etc. choose something that has a bit of flair. in relation to shoes- make sure that they are comfortable as well as attractive

for your hair this can depend on the dress but think of comfort as well- some styles that use accessories such as clips and combs after a while they can hurt a bit and you want to pull them out. try for something sleek and sexy- maybe layer your hair. if you have thick hair make sure you use a product that will keep it from frizzing and going everywhere. short hair- looks good with a single comb/clip with a pretty design. long hair- looks good either held back at the temple or swept up in a chignon or something similar, if you want to leave it loose add a bit of curl/wave for some extra oomph.

try and ensure your makeup looks natural. avoid using a shovel- you are not applying cement. use both a foundation and a loose powder to both prevent oil and shine and also to make it last longer. mascara- use it lightly as you do not want to look like a raccoon- same goes for any eye liner. eyeshadow- keep it simple and try and match it to your dress colour. for example if you wear a blue dress avoid pink eyeshadow. also if your prom goes for a long time you might want to take along a a white eyeshadow and if you feel yourself getting tired lightly apply to the area under your eyes as it helps reduce signs of fatigue under them.

add some faint colour to your cheeks as well - you do not want to look like a ghost in any photos. make sure that your makeup blends i with your skin tone as well- avoid a tide mark

your lipstick should be longlasting and something that looks good- don't hesitate to experiment

MOST IMPORTANTLY HAVE FUN- EVEN IF YOU GO BY YOURSELFPls. give me advices, websites on all about PROM...?
I heard once that it is a statistical fact that more adolescent girls lose their virginity on prom night than on any other night of the year. So my advice to you is to not do anything irresponsible, that you are not comfortable with. Don't worry so much about the dress and if you're going to ride in a limo or not, a week after the big night none of that shi_ will even matter, and in a year or 2 you will be too busy balancing your checkbook and saving up for your new house. High school is about as forgettable as the proofs and theorems they try to force feed you in your calculus classes.
