Make sure you don't disturb and chemical soil termite barriers to your houseRemoving old lawn... putting in new lawn and sprinkler system... any good advice or websites I can refer to?
You may know this already but, once you lift old lawn; chaulk out where you want you sprinkler system to pop. Set up some lines and chaulk the ground. If you want it to last go beneath the freeze line if any in your area. Once your done with that, than add your new lawn. Laying the sprinkler first will eliminate having to tear up the lawn later.

Anyone know some good websites that offer advice on decorating a baby nursery? Want Educational theme...?

I am in child psych and we have to write a 4 page paper on how we would decorate a baby nursery with their development in mind. For example, black and white images stimulate the baby, music soothes...so on. I just need some good ideas to get my brain rolling and some research on these theories for my paper. Any help is appreciated!!!Anyone know some good websites that offer advice on decorating a baby nursery? Want Educational theme...?
Just look up colors online that relate to children and comfort. Soft pink, soft blue, light yellow, etc. Soft, slow music quiets the baby, etc. Just do some research online. I am sure you can come up with tons of hits.Anyone know some good websites that offer advice on decorating a baby nursery? Want Educational theme...?
Try this website,

http://www.simplyislam.com/iteminfo.asp?item=1296
Just come up with at theme and then back it such as music then you would have mobiles that play music and instruments famous musicians Mozart, Bach.

Or you could make it visual with artists lots of art and lots of color.

Another them could be religious Noah's ark and then it gets decorated according to animals.

But what ever you do don't forget a rocker by the window with books.

How was your nursery you could model if after yours.

Single holidays advice/websites?

I am a 29 year old female and interested in going on a solo holiday and wonder if any one can advise me of which companies to use. I should also tell you all i have a minor disability so any holidays which don't require me to walk for ages and ages which will tire me out would be most helpful. Otherwise just give me whatever holidays you know of. And i can do the research myself.

Thanks :)Single holidays advice/websites?
The link below might help you in organising your next trip! :)

Good luck and remember anywhere you go make the most of it! Single holidays advice/websites?
I routinely travel by myself.

I don't actually use any companies that specialise in the single traveller niche of the market though.

For sunny beach holidays in Spain it is very easy to book an apartment and a flight yourself and avoid the ridiculous single supplements that defy rational explanation that the major tour operators punish single travellers with. I just book a flight on the airlines website and the are numerous sites for apartments like alpha rooms or the Thomson website.

Earlier this year I went to Iceland for the first time and found it to be a very interesting country. I went on a three day city break to Reykjavik booked through Discover the World

http://www.discover-the-world.co.uk/

Iceland has just become a lot more affordable. Reykjavik has a compact city and the interesting tours you can go on all pick you up at the door of your hotel. I find you get chatting to other single travellers much easier on trips like this than on the sunny beach holidays. When you're on a coach trip somewhere just ask another solo traveller if they would take your photo and then you do the same for them.
Solo travel is a booming industry and growing year on year.

Its amazing how many people you meet when you travel on your own, Its the best thing you can do.

Try the following companies :

exodus.co.uk

explore.co.uk

intrepidtravel.com

adventurecompany.co.uk

(if you google adventure travel you will get many more but I think the above are the main players in the industry, I have used explore and I am using Exodus this January)

They all specialise in sight seeing adventure holidays for solo travellers. You don't pay a single supplement unless you want to because you get paired up with someone of the same sex. All holidays have excellent description of the proposed itinery, tour leader to tidy things up if something goes wrong, specialist insurance for the holiday (around 拢 30 per trip) and avoid the main touristy routes. Usually most of your food is included in the price and all companies clearly detail the number of meals included. Tours are graded for difficulty so its easy to see which trip is right for you (many don't involve more than say 10 minute walks). You are not committed to all the excursions and so can skip them if one or 2 look a bit demanding.

You meet up with a group of like minded travellers (approx 10 to 15 people) and your tour leader at the destination airport and then get dropped off at the departure airport at the end of the holiday.

Your fellow travellers become your best friends for the duration of the holiday and you will hear so many stories that once you have done it once you will be inspired to do so many other trips (either on your own or with a company). Having done the tour groups and proper individual travel I would recommend a company for your first trip.

The one down side is that nearly all flights for these holidays depart from Heathrow, you can arrange to get to Heathrow under your own steam or if its easier, pick your holiday from any company and book it through a traditional independant travel agent, they will be able to look at shuttle flights or trains to Heathrow and get you the best deal (you still pay the same price).

Your next question will be where to go as the number of holidays on offer must easy exceed 1000.

Happy travelling.
