How to advice my friends to stop watching porn films? Also opening porn websites?

My friends, all of them, the Christians like to open porn websites and always watgh porn film, I was so shcked when they say and give me a look, but I refuse, so about the advice, could you give me?

Please, advice with Holy Bible WordsHow to advice my friends to stop watching porn films? Also opening porn websites?
Sorry, I don't have biblical references to this.

But the first question is are they harming themselves? Does their viewing Porn affect their jobs, personal finances, personal relationships, or intimate relationships? If so, then you probably need to suggest a twelve step program.

If the Porn is not troubling them, you could suggest they pray for the men and women they are viewing. Some of them have severe problems.

On the other hand, you might consider why you have such a problem with their porn use. Porn might not be for you, but that is your choice. You should probably trust your friends and church-mates to make decisions for themselves. How to advice my friends to stop watching porn films? Also opening porn websites?
Song of Solomon Chapter 4 vs 3-5

Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely: thy temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within thy locks.

Thy neck is like the tower of David builded for an armoury, whereon there hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men.

Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies.

Sex is normal and natural. It's how you came to be. Stop making it into The Big Nasty
I don't remember there being a chapter in the bible regarding internet pornography. But what's so wrong with jerkin' your gerkin? Are they hurting anyone?
Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Matthew 7:1-2
Unfortunately the bible doesn't really give us insight into 'how' to combat pornography and other related sins. BUT, I have read a book atleast 3 times that is Christian based and very helpful. It's called 'Every Young Man's Battle' by Stephen Arterburn and Fred Stoeker. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is struggling with this kinda thing.
give it up dude - the whores of Babylon have been loosed!!!!, that's what they are - sinners, every damn one of them....run for your life - don't look back - do not look back!!!!
If you like looking at porn or if your friends like looking at porn, and the porn use isn't getting in the way of work or family obligations, you ought to set aside any ideology that makes you feel guilty about it.

I think you need to look around for other friends, people who aren't hypocrites. The people you describe are pretending to be Christians, but are into something which is definitely not a part of traditional Christianity.

I don't know that you can change the people you describe. I'm not entirely sure that trying to change people is either possible, or desirable. They must have heard the quote that ';any man who looks at a woman lustfully is committing adultery';, and yet they are continuing to do so. So, try to find people whose interests and inclinations match yours better.
I'm not making this up and it isn't in jest. There's a website called xxxchurch, which is a real evangelical website, that deals with that.

Hope this helps!
If you don't like it don't watch it, it's that simple. Mind your own business.
you can install netdog porn filter, it will block all porn sites quitely in the background when your friends are on the internet.
Pornography is extremely addictive. Many, many people (Christian or otherwise) struggle with viewing pornographic media.

It is addictive because it appeals to man's baser instincts. We get pleasure from masturbation, and viewing nudity or explicit sexual acts is a stimulus for this pleasure.

Pornography has ruined lives. Like marijuana, at first it seems ';fun'; but ultimately leads to craving for more, hardcore experiences. Soon, looking at pictures isn't enough, so you watch movies. Then that gets boring, and you start seeking extra-marital affairs (either fornication or adultery).

It is a shame that so many people handle such dangerous material with such lightheartedness. I, myself, have struggled with this issue for years upon years and speak from vicious experiences.

The bible instructs us that everything we do should give glory to God. Professing Christians cannot possibly justify pornography in any manner - our scriptures are clear that even looking at someone with lust is fornication or adultery.

Unfortunately, we live in a world of consumer Christianity. People just pick and choose what to believe and what to discard. They want a savior, but not salvation. The want a cross, but no Christ.

Many people will be saddened on that day when Jesus looks upon them. The will say ';Lord we did all these things in your name.'; And He will tell them ';Depart from me, you workers of iniquity. I never knew you.';
Are they really Christians, or do they just call themselves that? If they go to church with you, you can talk to your preacher about it but just don't tell him who they are.. A whole lot of people have never been to church, don't ever read the bible but claim to be Christian because they say they beleive in Jesus. There is more to being a Christian than that.

Many people claim to beleive in Jesus but like I said above they have never been to church nor read the bible, so they just make up their own beleif system and call it Christian. a lot of people who do read the bible and do go to church three times a week do this also.

Bottom line, is you cannot control others, but if they really are Christian and do go to church you can try and talk to them and tell them they are sinning and setting a bad example. You might try and use me as an example and tell them if they met me and tried to ';witness'; to me their testimony would be null and void due to their behaviour.

I was Christian and even a preacher, but left Christianity and I have no tolerance for someone who tries to ';witness'; to me when they willfully sin. If however I know the person and know they have a good heart, I will kindly and gently tell them I am not interested, but do it with kindness, but to the hypocrits who sin more than I do but claim to be christian, I am very hard on them because I still know scripture even though I no longer beleive it.

If a person is truly trying I try to encourage them and will let them talk about their faith.

Non christians will do anything they want to because they are not bound by the bible.

I do however commend on your desire to show them the error of their ways since they claim to be Christian. One reason people like myself and many athiests are so hard on Christians is because of christians like your friends. Too many times we have people telling us we need Jesus when their lives are a mess and full of sin, but when we point that sin out, they get mad tell us we can't judge them because they are only human and are saved sinners and Jesus is working on them. That is the biggest copout of all.

Eyes are the light of the body, so what you see kinds makes up who u are ................ plus its addictive. Everything demonic is addictive, if they've found that they can't stop it even if they wanted to, they are being gradually enslaved. Pray for them and warn them. I presume you can access some web sites. If this is the case, something is blocking the access to select sites.

See if the router has site blocking enabled.

I am moving to singapore, could someone help with websites for estate agents, or advice on what area to live?

If you really want to move into Singapore, visit this website: http://www.erasingapore.com.sg/ERA/index鈥?/a>

My aunt is a real estate agent in Singapore working in ERA, so if you want, you can contact me.

For other real estate agencies, visit this website: http://www.redas.com/ and get into eDirectory.I am moving to singapore, could someone help with websites for estate agents, or advice on what area to live?
singapore is a small country but densly populated . Its best if you find a place closer to your work place in order cut out travelling time and beat the humidity and heat and congestion.

There are many places to live but that would depend on your requirements and budget.

Personally I will try live away from the city and its too congested and very expensive.I am moving to singapore, could someone help with websites for estate agents, or advice on what area to live?
www.st701.com look under property.

good luck for your hunt!
This website provides lot of information about moving to Singapore. Online property listing is available also. Hope you enjoy your stay in Singapore!
I lived in Singapore for 4 months and most everything is quite close so something central would be best. Being near Orchard Road is splendid if you like shopping (endless!) and people watching. Stay away from the outer regions like Jurong. It's out in the boonies. Stay away from Geylan which is the red light district. Enjoy your stay!
we moved here in June, we had been advised to live Orchard Road area so started looking there, but we decided we didn't want to live right in a busy busy busy place with hustle and bustle all around you. We then came out to East Coast Park area and found a fabulous place on Tanjong Rhu Road, our apartment overlooks the river, we can walk along the riverside, there are a few bars and restaurants within walking distance and we are a 5/10 minute drive from the park itself. Some people advise not to live ';so far out'; but here there are shuttle buses, normal buses and taxis galore.

We used Propnex and a really nice man called Michael

Where are you moving from?

  • Know any good websites that can give me advice/help on how to build a cool house on sims?

Wow that would be great! Haven't actually heard of one though. What I normally do is put one of all the pre-made houses for each neighourhood/expansion in my neighbourhood and check them out for ideas. Also look at houses on the Internet aswell for general design ideas, but maybe that's because I have too much free time or something...

I usually go for themes aswell, like doing an older style/medieval house, then more modern designs, etc. If you want to build a cool old mansion, then go on rightmove.co.uk and look for houses somewhere expensive like Hampshire.

IS THERE ANY WEBSiTES THAT CAN TEACH ME OR GiVE ME ADViCE ON HOW TO DRAW FACiAL EXPRESSiONS?

i WANNA GET BETTER AT DRAWiNG FACiAL EXPRESSiONS BECAuSE WEN i DRAW THE BODY LOOKS ALiVE BuT THE FACE LOOKS DEAD.IS THERE ANY WEBSiTES THAT CAN TEACH ME OR GiVE ME ADViCE ON HOW TO DRAW FACiAL EXPRESSiONS?
Honestly, vonna, the best bet is to turn on your webcam and take snaps of yourself with various expressions. Smile, frown, smirk, gasp, etc. Once you've done that, save them and use them when you draw. Pull up the one you want (label them frown, smile, etc) and use them as a guide.

Your facial features are unique, of course, but you'll find it pretty easy to apply the same slopes, lines, and angles to others' faces.IS THERE ANY WEBSiTES THAT CAN TEACH ME OR GiVE ME ADViCE ON HOW TO DRAW FACiAL EXPRESSiONS?
    DeviantArt usually has tutorials.

And cartoon tutorials are the most helpful, even if you are a realist.

(I know about facial expressions, but it would be too awkward to explain it in words without any pictures to show you what I mean.)
